  Who really is the Evil Slave

  now matthew 24 was written about the end times, which i do belive we are fast approaching, (as opposed to 100 years ago), at verse 48 we read of a religion that isnt a false religion for it has been classed as a slave of the "master" who is jesus.. now this evil slave has two identifying features i wish to ponder, it considers jesus arrival to be late, this implies a religion that has set an expectation of jesus arrival at a certain time for said non-arrival to be considered delayed.. it also beats its fellow slaves or religious brothers as a result of this delay.. .

  the first point, which christian religions have been waiting for the masters arrival for such a long time that they now consider him delayed, obviously delayed from the time they where expecting him.. .

  having read crisis of conscience and read accounts of annointed who have been disfellowshipped or beaten by thier fellow slaves in the organisation, and especially over the 1914 doctrine which ties the being beaten to the delay.. can you think of any other christian religion that fullfils the criteria for evil slave more than the watchtower society?.

  Prophets, soothsayers, fortunetellers, psychics what's the difference?

  Truth be told, you can say anything you want and there is almost always a small margin that it may come true; like haphazardly firing a gun, every time you shoot you have a minute possibility of hitting the target.

  So do predictions really “come true” or are they just incredibly lucky?

  The only problem I see is that, as soon as one of these whack jobs happens to guess and get something right, we in turn bow before them and label them a prophet of god.

  UGH , aren't we smarter than this?

  Just when I think I've heard the most ignorant thing, the witlesses shock me.

  To be “smart" you need knowledge, wisdom and common sense, if you remove any one of these you're left with a dumbass; apparently wash-towel makes sure at least one of these is removed before baptism.

  My Daughters House Burned Down

  my daughters house burned down and her and her husband and three children got out with just the jammies on their back.

  when her husband called his parents ( dad is elder and both parents are regular pioneers) the next morning, they told him they were sorry that they were unable to come and help as 'big wig' brother, head of the branch had just died and they were going to be with his grieving wife and son!?!

  it's been a week now and they are still a no-show as they are too busy with their bible studies and service to even see their son and three grandchildren.

  So sorry for their loss.

  Your daughters in-laws, witlesses or not, are despicable and heartless; I don't think some people realize the emotional devastation that occurs when you lose everything. I know a couple whose house burned down destroying everything, it's been a few years now, but they both still have a massive amount of anxiety and constantly worry about their security. Many too can suffer from a form of post-traumatic stress disorder, so please make sure they (especially the children) get the proper emotional support needed.

  You are a doll for taking them in.

  i had a friend named bob.

  he was a damned wonderful person and i loved him very much, still do as a matter of fact.

  thyroid cancer took him about 6 years ago and i count myself as lucky for the short time we got to spend and work together.

  by the way not been to a meeting in 2.5 yrs after 35 yrs in the b/s,and just wondering how much they pressure to get the answers they want.

  Welcome.

  I've lied to the elderberries before and didn't feel bad about it either; they don't really want the truth, they want you to kiss their ass and prove them right, so I gave them what they wanted.

  The shepherding calls and judicial committees are only to get you to either leave or grovel and, depending on what you want to do, you have to choose which way the meeting will go.

  But be prepared, choosing to grovel will require a lot of lying.

  C.O. Is coming this week

  so i had the elders come to my house about two months at the time i told my wife and family that i was having doubts.

  they came by i explained my position and they basically told me i needed to be more humble and just tow the line like many others have before me.

  well i have not gone preaching or to any meeting for two months after that and did not recieve any phone call from the elders, which was fine by me .

  The CO is just a dude who cracks down on the elderberreis.

  He instructs them to whip you into shape and a meat-ing with the next level slave abuser would, in their minds, do the trick.

  Depending on whether you want to stay "in" or go out, you can respectfully decline (as others have mentioned here), meet and kiss major ass, meet and be truthful or tell them to f*ck off (the latter two will get you DF).

  Another thought:

  Since they want to use middle management, is there any reason why they don't want to lose you? (Money, free labor/privileges, need brothers, etc.) If you want be crafty, it may be the only opportunity you'll get to make them beg; this must be meticulously planned and can involve some ass kissing with the possibility of a major backfire, but if you don’t care about being DF have some fun with it.
